souvenir pictures in Marilyn Monroe"s movie corner, and caricature
portraits in a vintage Vegas or 50"s/60"s settings by Barbara
Thornton...Art. Prizes to be awarded or sold in the auction include
the grand prize of a golf/ski weekend for the family at a choice of
destinations around the United States valued between $800-$1,000. A

seats to the Philadelphia 76"ers, autographed sports memorabilia,
opera tickets, a VIP Disney on Ice package, super box seats to the
circus, six months of delivered flowers, spa and hair packages,
restaurant gift certificates, a Pocono"s getaway and Elvis
collector"s limited edition memorabilia. "Casino night transports
audiences into our own specially created casino - where vintage
Vegas gets a 50"s and 60"s twist!" said Executive Director Kory
Michael Aversa. "Join the stars and legends of yesterday and help
us raise critical dollars to bring critical medical and vision
services to children who have no health insurance, no financial
means and no where else to turn." Since 1986, more than $440,000
has been awarded by the CHF in grants, programs and services.
Proceeds from "Viva Las Vegas" benefit general CHF programs and
services, as well as grants to the Pediatric Healthcare Outreach
Program (HOP) and Camden Eye Center"s "Sight First for Kids." The
Pediatric HOP Clinic, in association with Cooper University
Hospital, is a free pediatric clinic supported by volunteer medical
students and pediatric attendings/ residents of UMDNJ-Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School of Camden. It is the only clinic of its type
in the Camden area to provide pediatric care free-of-charge to
those in Camden without health insurance. The clinic provides not
only healthcare, but also medications. The CHF is the primary
financial collaborator on this project. The "Sight First for Kids"
program is a comprehensive program for children up to eighteen
years old. Free eye care services, examinations, treatments and
prescription eye wear are provided for eligible children from
underserved, low income and uninsured families in Camden City,
Camden County and surrounding areas. The "Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)"
program component of the "Sight First for Kids" program, has
reached over 7,000 children ages six months thru six years during
the last three years in an effort to detect this childhood vision
disorder that is the primary cause of vision impairment, monocular
vision impairment in children. "Viva Las Vegas!" is presented by
the CHF, with support from sponsors: Acorn Dental Associates, PA;
Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson &
Co.; Bob Meyer Communities; and the Children"s Regional Hospital at
Cooper University Hospital. In-kind support is being provided by
the Mansion on Main Street, Whole Foods Market, The Trend/ The
Journal and www.youngprofesionalevents.com . Tickets are $75, or
$100 for the event, preview party and souvenir. Young professional
tickets are available for those 32 and under, and cost $65, or $90
