| | Excellent Online Casinos News Archive| Americans Want Legal Online Casinos | | | Publication Date: 10 Aug 2006 | | A poll conducted last week showed that the majority of Americans want online casinos to be legalized. The poll was conducted because there are senators who are trying to ban online casinos gambling. The poll, conducted by CNBC, showed very conclusively that 91% of Americans think that all online casinos should be legalized. This poll is the latest in a series of online casinos gambling polls that have sent a very strong message to legislators that the American public wants the online casinos industry regulated rather than prohibited. The Wall Street Journal conducted a big poll earlier this year with similar results where 85% said they don’t want a ban.
Most people think that trying to ban online casinos is a waste of time because whether the bill is passed or not, online casinos fans will continue to play but they will just be forced to play illegally. Checking out if people are playing at online casinos sites in the privacy of their own homes is very difficult to do without making them feel that their privacy is indeed being invaded.
If online casinos are legalized which is what the people want, the industry will be much easier to control and the people of America will be satisfied and happy that they can enjoy playing their favorite online casinos games without feeling that they are doing something criminal and forbidden. They will not feel like they have to hide the fact that they are spending their leisure time at online casinos sites. |
